Job summary

Qualifications

• Read, understand, and write English at an eighth-grade level.
• Perform arithmetic calculations to make change and complete shift reports.
• Validate identification prior to selling tobacco/alcohol as required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle crates of milk/beer/juice.
• Must be able to work flexible schedule and in varying temperatures.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the store.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper and efficient operation of the station during shift.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Prepare a shift report at shift end.
• Maintain store safety, appearance, and cleanliness.
• Support implementation of Safety and Health program.
• Communicate store operations changes with management.
