Job summary

FutureFuel Chemical Company seeks a Welder for our Flex Crew at the Batesville, Arkansas site. The role involves welding on pipe and structural components under supervision, with emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities include completing welding tests (GTAW, SMAW, GMAW) and collaborating with the installation team. The position requires working indoors/outdoors and adhering to FFCC safety processes at the Batesville plant.

Qualifications

• Skilled welding across positions.
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
• Knowledge of safety protocols per FFCC policies.
• Experience with welding tests (GTAW/SMAW/GMAW) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pass welding performance tests (GTAW 6G, SMAW 6G, GMAW plate).
• Produce quality welds on pipe and structural steel.
• Assist with installation of pipe and components.
• Assist with clean-up and safety training.
• Work in varying weather conditions.
• Weld in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Operate safety equipment and follow safe work habits.
• Lay out and align parts using rulers and squares.
• Inspect pieces and measure with templates for conformance.
• Use welding equipment (SMAW, GMAW, GTAW) as required.
