Job summary

FedEx is seeking a Casual Courier to provide courteous pick-up and delivery on an assigned route, ensuring shipments meet FedEx Canada service standards and maintaining a professional appearance. The role involves timely reporting of stop counts and adherence to safety and operational procedures.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs (up to 150 lbs with equipment).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or educational equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• 1 year of customer-oriented business experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
• Some knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery on an assigned route.
• Ensure shipments conform to FedEx Canada features of service; label correctly and maintain neat paperwork.
• Report stop counts and missorts accurately and timely.
• Operate computerized tracking and dispatch systems; input correct information.
• Answer customer questions about FedEx Canada features of service and Canada/US/International requirements.
• May perform aircraft and/or container loading/unloading as workload dictates.
