Trinity Employment Specialists in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a direct hire position. The role blends school-based services with clinic hours to support student and patient independence.

You will implement treatment plans, provide hands-on therapy, monitor progress, document sessions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. The schedule is flexible while maintaining licensure and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility as a COTA.
• CPR certification preferred (or required upon hire).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt between school-based and clinic environments.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist
• Provide direct, hands-on therapy services in school settings and in our clinic
• Support functional skill development for students and patients across various environments
• Monitor patient progress and report findings to the supervising OT
• Document sessions accurately and in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Educate patients, students, caregivers, and school staff on therapeutic strategies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care
• Maintain a safe, organized, and supportive treatment environment
• Uphold state licensure, regulatory, and ethical standards
