Job summary

Care Initiatives is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join AffiniCare with flexible scheduling and the ability to travel between multiple Care Initiatives communities within your region.

You will assist residents with daily living activities, provide companionship, and support health monitoring while adhering to infection control protocols. A minimum of 6 months CNA experience and an active CNA certification are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months verifiable CNA experience.
• Active CNA certification required.
• Ability to travel between Care Initiatives communities.
• Residence within reasonable driving distance to communities.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating).
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Interact with residents, families and healthcare team.
• Monitor health including routine vital checks.
• Encourage recreational and therapeutic activities.
• Follow infection control protocols.

What You'll Do & Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Deliver emotional support and provide companionship while fostering a positive and engaging environment.
• Interact and communicate with residents, families, as well as the healthcare team.
• Provide health monitoring including conducting routine vital checks.
• Encourage and facilitate resident recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance health and daily routines.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for safety.

What it takes:

• Six (6) months of verifiable experience working as a CNA.
• Active CNA certification.
• The ability to travel between multiple Care Initiatives communities within your region.
• Must live in a reasonable driving distance from Care Initiatives communities.
