Qualifications

• Current California CNA certification/license.
• Minimum of a 10th-grade education.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, supervisors, and coworkers.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to provide compassionate and respectful resident care.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA and facility privacy requirements.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine nursing and personal care per residents' care plans.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing and grooming.
• Record vitals and monitor residents' health.
• Observe and report changes to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and transportation within the facility.
