Interim HealthCare is seeking a Home Care Aide (HCA) / Certified Nurse Assistant to support seniors in University City, Fenton, Ballwin, Arnold and South County. You will design a care schedule that fits your life, with an emphasis on safety, dignity and companionship.

The role emphasizes one-to-one client care, flexible hours and opportunities to grow skills through online training. A high school diploma and CPR are required, with healthcare experience preferred and a valid Missouri driver’s

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Six months of experience in a healthcare role preferred.
• CPR certification.
• Valid MO driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation.
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator.

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.
