Job summary
BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Home Health Aides to provide compassionate one-on-one care in clients' homes, following a written plan under a registered nurse. Training is available for CHHA/HHA credentials and flexible scheduling is offered.
Improve client independence, travel to assigned homes, and enjoy weekly pay, holiday pay, and a supportive team with 24/7 on-call clinical manager support.
Qualifications
- Current CHHA/HHA credential in good standing with the New Jersey Board of Nursing.
- Previous caregiving/home health experience may be required for the position.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one care according to a written plan under RN supervision.
- Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Meal preparation and feeding; medication reminders as directed.
- Light housekeeping and laundry; bed making and other tasks.
- Assist with ambulation and transfers; range-of-motion exercises.
- Take vital signs and monitor client condition; report changes.
- Provide companionship and emotional support; help maintain independence at home.
