Job summary
Right at Home of Central New Jersey is seeking a Skilled Certified Home Health Aide or Companion Caregiver to provide compassionate in-home care across Middlesex, Mercer and Northern Monmouth Counties. You will assist seniors with daily activities, coordinate with nurses and physicians, and help families maintain independence at home.
Qualified CHHAs must be licensed in New Jersey, pass a 2-step PPD, have up-to-date physical and MMR records, and possess reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
- NJ Licensed Certified Home Health Aide is required.
- 2-step PPD test.
- Physical within last 12 months.
- MMR vaccination or proof of immunity.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate in-home care and assist with daily activities.
- Record and report health data as medically necessary.
- Assist with planning doctor appointments and transportation when needed.
- Perform light housekeeping, meal prep, groceries, and errands.
- Support with dressing, bathing, and personal care as needed.
- Document patient status and communicate with nurses and family.
