Job summary

Right at Home Central New Jersey is hiring Skilled Certified Home Health Aides or Companion Caregivers to provide compassionate in-home care across Middlesex, Mercer, and Northern Monmouth counties. Aides support daily activities, document health data, and coordinate doctor visits, with both hourly and live-in opportunities.

Requirements include NJ CHHA license, high school diploma, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
• NJ Licensed as Certified Home Health Aide is a must.
• 2-step PPD
• Physical within the last 12 months
• MMR
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as dressing, bathing, and mobility.
• Record and report patient data as medically necessary.
• Plan for doctor appointments and arrange transportation when needed.
• Work both in facility settings and in patients' homes, hourly or live-in.
• Perform light housekeeping, meal prep, grocery shopping, and errands.
• Report health status changes to nurses and physicians.
