Job summary

Right at Home Central New Jersey is seeking a Skilled Certified Home Health Aide or Companion Caregiver to provide compassionate, in-home care in Middlesex, Mercer and Northern Monmouth Counties, helping seniors age in place. Candidates must hold NJ CHHA licensure, have a high school diploma or GED, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, documenting health data, coordinating with nurses, and scheduling appointments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• NJ Licensed Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) is a must.
• 2-step PPD test required.
• Physical within the last 12 months.
• MMR vaccination.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities (dressing, bathing, mobility).
• Record and report health data to nurses and physicians as needed.
• Coordinate doctor appointments and scheduling of transportation.
• Provide care with adherence to protocols and infection-control practices.
• Perform light housekeeping, meal prep, and shopping as required.
