Job summary

Ravnec Roofing Supply in Roanoke, VA is hiring a Flex CDL Driver to support delivery operations across multiple locations. You will safely load, transport, and deliver roofing materials to job sites, travel between branches, fill in for drivers, and assist with warehouse tasks.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL with medical card, ability to lift 75–100 lbs, and familiarity with inventory and delivery software.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with current medical card and insurable driving record.
• Experience driving CDL A vehicles (tractor trailers).
• Ability to learn and use inventory and delivery software systems.
• Experience in warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Ability to lift 75-100 lbs consistently.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and climb ladders throughout the workday.
• Ability to follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift experience or certification (preferred).
• Experience in roofing or building materials distribution (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Safely load, transport, and deliver materials to job sites and company locations.
• Travel between pick-up locations and regional branches as needed.
• Fill in for drivers during absences, including vacations and call-outs.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with the Warehouse Manager regarding schedules and updates.
• Complete end-of-day documentation and check-out procedures accurately.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and general warehouse operations.
• Operate forklifts and handle materials safely and efficiently.
• Transport company vehicles or assets as directed.
• Support overall branch operations and assist with additional duties as assigned.
