Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children in a classroom, educational, childcare, or youth-serving setting preferred.
• Experience supporting classroom instruction and student behavior is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Follow lesson plans, instructional materials, and classroom procedures provided by the regular teacher.
• Deliver instruction and facilitate learning activities appropriate to students' grade levels.
• Maintain continuity of learning and keep students engaged.
• Provide clarification and assistance as needed.
• Adapt to different classroom assignments and subjects as required.
• Establish a positive, respectful, and structured classroom environment.
• Communicate expectations clearly and consistently.
• Supervise students during instruction and transitions.
• Report significant issues to the designated administrator.
