Help at Home in Valdosta, GA is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide compassionate care and support for individuals in daily activities. Earn $14–$17 per hour with flexible day, evening, and weekend shifts, plus mileage reimbursement and professional development opportunities.

You will document progress, work with the DDP and local staff, and help clients pursue goals like independence, meals, transportation, and social activities.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred; literacy test option available.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record; reliable transportation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Deliver safe, confidential, and respectful care at all times.
• Provide verbal and/or physical prompts to support daily activities and promote independence.
• Accurately document progress toward individual goals and maintain logs.
• Collaborate with the DDP and local office staff to ensure quality care.
