Village Caregiving - Bloomington, IN is seeking a caregiver/CNA/HHA to provide in-home support to clients. Responsibilities include medication reminders, mobility assistance, personal care, therapy exercises, shopping, and light housekeeping.

Candidates should remain compassionate, professional and capable of clear communication with families and healthcare teams. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to health standards, and the ability to respond quickly in emergencies.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required.
• Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification is required.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Knowledge of housekeeping and cooking with dietary awareness.
• Respectful, compassionate bedside manner.
• Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical endurance for tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Medication reminders.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.).
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises.
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members.
• Report any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family members.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
