Job summary

Village Caregiving - Bloomington, IN seeks compassionate Caregiver/CNA/HHA to support clients at home. The role involves medication reminders, mobility assistance, personal care, light housekeeping, and meal preparation.

We offer hourly pay of $15-$17, daily pay option, flexible schedule, life insurance, referral program, and a 401K. CPR certification and high school diploma required; prior caregiver experience preferred. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification required.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Knowledge of housekeeping and cooking with attention to dietary constraints.
• Respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner.
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Medication reminders
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises
• Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own, including preparing meals
• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members
• Report any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family members
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
