Job summary

BrightStar Care of Central DuPage is hiring caregivers and CNAs for immediate start across DuPage County, IL. Shifts include 4, 6, and 12 hours with day or overnight options, typically 6am-8pm or 6pm-8am.

Qualified applicants have 1+ year caregiver experience or active CNA/HHA/PCA/DSP credentials, CPR, a current TB test, and reliable transportation. Dementia care and related patient support are highly valued.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year caregiver experience or current CNA/HHA/PCA/DSP.
• CPR certification, work physical, and negative TB test within the past year.
• Reliable vehicle with insurance and ability to commute to the DuPage County location.
• Experience with dementia care, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, fall prevention, incontinence, hospice is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Companionship, conversation, and activities.
• Fall prevention and mobility/transfer support.
• Meal preparation, medication reminders, personal hygiene assistance.
• Light housekeeping and occasional transportation to appointments.
