Job summary

Homewatch CareGivers of Austin is hiring PRN Caregivers, CNAs, HHAs, and PCPs to cover open shifts across Austin and surrounding areas. We call or text you when a shift opens, and you let us know if you're available.

We offer $20.00 per hour on every shift with a flexible schedule, free training through Caregiver University, in-person support from a care coordinator, and opportunities for advancement. Join our team and make a meaningful impact.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of caregiving experience in home care or a skilled facility.
• Comfortable entering a new home and getting up to speed quickly.
• Responsive to shift requests by call or text.
• Reliable transportation to shifts.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Compassionate, reliable, and independent worker.
• CNA, HHA, or PCP certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and keep clients safe at home.
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities, following the care plan.
• Help with laundry, light housekeeping, and meal preparation.
• Drive clients to appointments, errands, and shopping, when needed.
• Report changes in a client's condition to the care team.
• Complete 12 hours of annual training through Caregiver University.
