Panera Bread in Lorton, VA is hiring a Restaurant Team Member to be the heart of hospitality, connecting with guests and supporting bakery-cafe operations. You’ll deliver warm, friendly service, assemble menu items, and help maintain a clean, welcoming environment.

Ideal candidates are 16+ with the ability to lift 25 lbs, excel in fast-paced settings, and enjoy creating moments of comfort and joy for guests. Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16+; ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Clear communication with guests, managers, and team in a loud environment
• Strong interpersonal skills; enjoy making people smile
• Passionate about creating moments of comfort, connection, and joy for every guest
• Reliable, punctual and flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays
• Food safety training awareness (Food Handler's Card as required by law)

Responsibilities

• Execute duties for specific areas within the bakery-cafe (Production, Prep, Service, Cashier, Expo, Drive-Thru, Barista, Guest Experience Champion, QC, etc.)
• Greet every guest with warmth and enthusiasm
• Assemble fresh salads, soups, and sandwiches with care and efficiency
• Stay on the move; assist guests at entry, cashier, and dining areas
• Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment per food safety standards
• Stay informed about daily priorities and adapt to changes with a positive attitude
• Support team success by completing cleaning and stocking duties and helping set up the next shift
