Qualifications

• Recent direct patient care in assigned specialty area.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical and/or theory instruction using approved course materials.
• Develop instructional strategies to promote critical thinking and clinical judgment.
• Evaluate student performance using nursing standards and competencies.
• Facilitate integration of theory into patient care practice.
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with site and university policies.
• Lead pre- and post-clinical conferences to reinforce learning.
• Engage students in reflective practice and clinical reasoning.
• Foster a professional learning environment emphasizing accountability and collaboration.
• Promote student success through active engagement and flexibility.
• Maintain accurate records of grades, attendance, and performance.
• Stay current with clinical practice and instructional content.
• Participate in department meetings and governance activities.
