Job summary

Geisinger Behavioral Health Center in Moosic, PA seeks experienced Family Nurse Practitioners (FNP) and/or Physician Assistants (PA-C) to join as a flex per diem provider supporting adult and adolescent care. Work at the behavioral health center with daily patient encounters and no overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• The successful NP/PA candidate must have a master’s degree in their respective field and be eligible for licensure in PA.
• Certification in relevant specialty preferred.
• Experience with Epic EHR is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive medical assessments.
• Provide medication management and daily patient rounds.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, therapists and case managers.
• Document all care in Epic and coordinate care transitions.
• Communicate with families, caregivers, and community providers to support continuity of care.
