Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to join the Behavioral Health team in Danville, PA. You will provide medical care for adults and adolescents (14+) in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting, with a focus on meaningful patient impact and work-life balance.

The role offers a rotating day-light schedule (3-on/4-off, 4-on/3-off), 10 CME days per year, relocation assistance, and a comprehensive benefits package. On-site pharmacy, phlebotomy, and Epic EHR support are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience.
• Licensed or eligible to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in PA.
• Experience in primary care with adults and adolescents (14+) within a behavioral health setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care for adults and adolescents (14+) as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
• Work with psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, nurses, and case managers to support patient care.
• Utilize Epic EHR and coordinate with on-site pharmacy and phlebotomy services.

The successful Nurse Practitioner candidate will work in collaboration with the physician and have a certificate of completion from an approved program for Nurse Practitioners or be eligible to hold national certification that allows the NP to work with the patient populations and location settings associated with this position. Must be eligible for licensure as a nurse practitioner in the state of PA.
