Job summary

Air Force Global Strike Command is seeking a Cook for Rockers Bar & Grill at Minot AFB, ND. This FLEX position offers intermittent hours based on facility needs. You will prepare and cook items with minimal processing and support meal service for personnel on base.

Responsibilities include following written recipes, portioning servings, maintaining salad bar and keeping kitchen equipment clean. This role supports a busy dining operation and requires adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with basic cooking tasks and food preparation.
• Ability to follow recipes and adhere to food safety standards.
• Willingness to work in a military dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook items such as pancakes, eggs, sausage, burgers, vegetables and simple soups.
• Set up and replenish salad bar; portion foods for service and store leftovers per procedures.
• Wash and clean kitchen equipment and follow recipes to minimize waste.
