Job summary

The YOU Trust is recruiting a Bank Support Worker in the New Forest area to join our Premier Crew bank. Based in Blackfield, this sessional role offers flexible hours to support clients with daily living and independence, including budgeting, education access, and community involvement.

A car or mobility is helpful, and training is provided. DBS checks apply, and shifts include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Able to work shifts including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
• Experience of supporting vulnerable people with a variety of needs.
• Experience in promoting and encouraging people's independence.
• Good communication skills: verbal, non-verbal, and written.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with all aspects of daily living, including budgeting, personal care, cooking and cleaning, and maintaining a home.
• Help clients find work or volunteering opportunities and access education at local colleges.
• Encourage involvement in community events and support personal development.
