Job summary

Music & Arts is seeking provisional band teachers to provide music instruction at the schools we serve. This role is part-time, with a 20-24 hour per week schedule, filling in when regular Music Educators are unavailable.

You will engage students, follow lesson plans, and help coordinate performances alongside school staff. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education and have some teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Music Education is required.
• Some teaching experience is preferred.
• Applicable for State Teaching License.

Responsibilities

• Stand in as the teacher for music classes at schools when regular educators are unavailable.
• Assist with student recruitment or after school events as needed.
• Prepare or follow lesson plans and provide progress reports, including attendance.
