Job summary

Jovie is seeking experienced caregivers to support local families with in-home care during evenings and weekends. The role is a 3+ hour shift from Friday to Sunday 4:00 PM to Midnight, with tasks including meals, activities, and bedtime routines.

Candidates should have childcare experience, provide references, a valid driver’s license, and CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it. Care will be conducted in family homes within 15–20 miles of your residence.

Qualifications

• You will have relatable childcare experience and the desire to work one-on-one with children in home settings.
• CPR/First Aid certification is expected or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Evening and weekend care from Fri 4pm to Sun Midnight.
• Prepare meals and snacks for children and engage in activities.
• Lead arts and crafts, games, baking, and outdoor play.
• Maintain bedtime routine and ensure child safety.
• Follow CDC hygiene guidelines and safety practices with families.

The flexible babysitting gig would be 3+ hours during the days of Friday through Sunday and the times of 4pm-Midnight. Care would possibly include making and providing meals, engaging in activities such as arts and crafts, board/card games, baking, outdoor play, bedtime routine, and staying with the children until the parents arrive home.
