Job summary

MBE CPAs in Colorado's Durango area seeks an Audit/Assurance Manager to lead client relationships and oversee audits for GAAP compliance. You will review financial statements, guide a team, and ensure quality and timeliness.

The role requires 3+ years in public accounting audit, a Bachelor's in Accounting, and CPA (or pursuing). Onsite preferred with openness to hybrid/remote for experienced talent; relocation and benefits included.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of audit experience at a public accounting firm.
• “CPA” certification highly desired or ability to attain.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing client financial records to identify potential accounting issues and researching solutions.
• Training, mentoring and managing team members in audit processes.
• Building new and strengthening client relationships while demonstrating knowledge of clients' businesses.
• Communicating and meeting with clients; providing recommendations to assist with financial or tax needs.
