Job summary

John Deere Harvester Works in East Moline, IL is seeking an Assembly Manufacturing Engineer to support current operations in the Front-End Equipment and Cab business unit. You will drive assembly improvements, establish SOE, layouts, torque tools, fixtures, and OMS while working with SAP and MES to maintain process controls.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage continuous improvement initiatives and help optimize safety, quality and efficiency in a busy production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent.
• Experience in assembly and manufacturing processes.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement continuous improvement projects across safety, quality and efficiency.
• Establish SOE, work center layouts, torque tools, fixtures and OMS.
• Collaborate with SAP/MES to perform engineering functions and control manufacturing processes.
