Job summary

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid Certification (must obtain within 3 weeks of hire)
• WSI/Swim Instructor certification or 1+ year swimming instruction experience required
• Fluent English and strong communication skills
• Superior organizational and customer service abilities

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and age-appropriate swim classes and programs
• Maintain safety protocols and supervise pool area before, during, and after lessons
• Keep accurate lesson plans, attendance, and client records
• Communicate promptly with members and supervisors
• Attend aquatics team meetings and participate in department events
• Respond to incidents and hazards and report to the Aquatics Director
