Job summary

California Schools Talent Collaborative is hiring an After School Program Leader Substitute for Fall 2026. This part-time role covers TK-12 students at multiple sites within the district, traveling as needed to fill open shifts.

As an CSTC employee, you’ll start at a school site for three months, then pursue the district's formal hiring process. You will support instructional activities, manage groups, and communicate with parents while maintaining records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 48 Semester/60 Quarter College Units or pass NCLB test.
• Must pass Live Scan (criminal background check via fingerprinting).
• Provide a clear TB test.
• Reliable transportation is required to meet the needs of the position.

Responsibilities

• Instruct TK‑12 students individually and/or in small and large groups, maintaining appropriate program ratios.
• Implement effective classroom management, discipline and instructional strategies.
• Set up activities daily; prepare and duplicate materials and operate instructional equipment.
• Monitor and evaluate the instruction and the student's progress.
• Maintain daily attendance sign‑in/sign‑out log and other records.
