Job summary

Mount Vernon School in Atlanta is seeking an After Care Substitute to assist with indoor and outdoor activities for Preschool and Lower School students (ages 5–7) from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The role offers a flexible schedule and supports safe, engaging afternoon programming.

You will supervise children, facilitate activities, and maintain a nurturing learning environment on the Lower Campus at 471 Mount Vernon Hwy NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328.

Qualifications

• Experience in a school, after-school or camp environment preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to children's needs.
• Passion for working with young children.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a safe and nurturing learning environment.
• Supervise children by sight and sound at all times.
• Facilitate interactive activities to engage students in the afternoon.
• Work hours are Mon-Fri, 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm.
