Job summary

Sunstates Security is seeking Part-Time Flex Unarmed Security Officers in the Hamlet, NC area. All days and shifts are available, with a pay rate of $20.00/hr and weekly pay.

The role involves monitoring CCTV, patrols, access control, incident reporting, and providing professional customer service to employees and visitors. Flex officers support shifts as needed to maintain uninterrupted service.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Good customer service skills and professional appearance.
• Strong observation and communication skills.
• Ability to remain professional in challenging situations.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer and report-writing skills.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a security team.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV cameras and report suspicious or unusual activity.
• Conduct scheduled interior and exterior patrols.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated access points.
• Verify employee, visitor, contractor, and vendor access as required.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and requests for security assistance.
• Complete detailed and accurate incident and daily activity reports.
• Maintain professional radio and verbal communication.
• Follow established post orders, site procedures, and security protocols.
• Assist with emergency response and evacuation procedures when required.
• Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and clients.
• Report safety hazards, security concerns, and policy violations through appropriate channels.
• Maintain a professional appearance and remain alert and attentive while on duty.
• Protect client property and help deter unauthorized activity.
