Job summary

Advanced Professional Security (APS) is seeking a full-time or part-time guard to serve as the company’s “flex.” This role covers employee call-outs, last-minute needs, and supports various posts across sites. The flex guard must be observant, calm under pressure, and maintain a professional appearance while traveling to different client locations.

Key duties include arriving for shifts, assisting with office duties, preparing sites, and complying with post orders.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform all functions with or without accommodations.
• Must be able to speak and comprehend English without translation.
• Must be neat, well-groomed and present a professional appearance.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Arizona Security Guard License - AZDPS Security Guard Form Triage.
• Ability to stand, sit, and walk up to 10 hours, lift up to 20 lbs.
• Reliably commute to client sites located within 30 minutes of the office.

Responsibilities

• Arrive to company office at start of shift and wait for assignment or head to assigned post to assist in staffing coverage.
• Assist in office-related duties and support training, onboarding, and other office duties.
• Assist in vehicle upkeep and site preparation for new clients.
• Follow client site post orders and stay updated with site changes.
• Other related duties as assigned.
