Job summary

Penske Logistics is hiring CDL Class A truck drivers for regional Midwest routes with frequent home time. You will deliver bread products to various customers using pre-stacked dollies and may use an electric pallet jack for unloading. Expect 5–10 stops per week and travel to multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required.
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the last 5 years.
• 3 years DMV/MVR with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• Must be proficient in English per federal requirements.
• Submit to Penske employment application, background, education and criminal history check and drug screening.
• Role is safety-sensitive under DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Travel regionally throughout the Midwest on weekly assignments.
• Deliver bread products using pre-stacked wheeled dollies with no store deliveries.
• Unload palletized bread using an electric pallet jack when needed.
• Average 5–10 stops per week.

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers

• Earn up to $120000 annually


• $10000 Sign-On Bonus

What you will do:

• This position requires the driver to travel regionally throughout the Midwest to work weekly assignments at various locations as needed


• Deliver bread products to customers using pre-stacked wheeled dollies, allowing for easy roll-off deliveries and roll-on returns, with no store deliveries required


• Bread products may be palletized and unloaded using an electric pallet jack


• Average 5 to 10 stops per week

• Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks

Schedule:

• Start times vary based on the assignment and customer needs

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence


• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required


• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years


• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents


• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.


• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.


• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
