Penske Logistics in Center Valley, PA is hiring full-time Home Daily Class A CDL Truck Drivers to deliver grocery freight to a major grocery chain. You will operate late-model Penske trucks with comfortable specs and in-cab cameras for safety.

You’ll dock-to-dock unload and stage products, maintain professionalism with customers, and enjoy comprehensive benefits, including paid vacation from day one and a strong retirement plan in a nationwide network.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required and valid in the U.S.
• DOT medical card current or obtainable
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years

Responsibilities

• Deliver grocery freight to a major grocery chain (freezer, cooler, dry)
• Dock-to-dock deliveries with no pallet breakdowns
• Unload and stage product in store areas
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with customers

You will drive:

• Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks


• Best-in-class specs designed for comfort


• Equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all

What you will do:

• Deliver grocery freight to a major grocery chain, including freezer, cooler, and dry products


• All deliveries are dock-to-dock with no pallet breakdowns required


• Unload and stage product in designated store areas


• Maintain professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers

Schedule:

• Dispatch window between 10:00 PM and 11:00 PM


• Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday schedules available


• 5-day work week with two consecutive days off


• Weekend wrap schedule available (Friday through Monday) with additional weekend incentive pay


• $300 Weekend Wrap Premium Incentive available for drivers on the Friday-Monday schedule

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence


• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required


• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years


• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents


• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines


• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job


• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.


• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required


• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
