Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking Flex Workers to support warehouse operations on a PRN, as-needed basis. Shifts include Friday 3:30pm–11:30pm with additional hours available up to 29 per week, in a cold storage environment (36°F–42°F).

You will perform order fulfillment tasks, pick products, and participate in inventory control, housekeeping, and equipment operations training, with full training provided on day one.

Qualifications

• No warehouse experience required; training provided on day one.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as part of order fulfillment.
• Comfort working in a cold environment (36°F–42°F).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Work in 36°F–42°F environment for up to 8 hours or longer.
• Follow established processes to fulfill orders, including picking, quality checks, packing and preparing shipments.
• Cross‑training in multiple warehouse areas and participating in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks to maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment.

Job description

Flex Workers are Cardinal Health Employees who are hired on a PRN (as needed basis) with a variable/flexible schedule. Employees must work a minimum of one day per week, and pick up hours as they prefer, not exceeding 29 hours per week.

Schedule:Friday 3:30pm to 11:30pm or until task complete. Remainder of the week, work as many or few hours as you choose based on available shifts up to 29 hours per week.

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include receiving product, fulfilling, packaging, and shipping orders within established team goals to ensure on time order delivery.

Responsibilities

• Able and willing to work in refer 36°F-42°F for up to 8 Hours or longer


• Follow established process to fulfill orders. This includes accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.


• Cross‑training in multiple areas of the warehouse and participating in projects as needed.


• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.


• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider

Qualifications
