Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Branch Flex Officer to safeguard clients across industries. You will view and claim shifts via our exclusive platform, building a schedule that fits your availability while gaining site experience across healthcare, education, and finance sectors.

The role may require irregular shifts with little notice and involves rigorous background checks and compliance with post orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license if operating a company or customer vehicle.
• Background check conducted per federal/state/local laws; prior histories considered.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• No prior experience required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Reliability and adaptability across posts.
• Ability to operate radio/console equipment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to assess situations quickly and calmly.
• Mediation of conflicts with tact and diplomacy.
• Teamwork and collaboration.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular conditions that may create security or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or notify police/fire department when needed.
• Warn violators of infractions.
• Permit entry to authorized persons and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe personnel to protect property and ensure authorized removal.
• Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously and professionally.
• Make emergency notifications per site Post Orders.
