Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Flex - unarmed in Santa Fe Springs, CA. The role involves conducting patrols on foot or by vehicle, monitoring for irregularities, and responding to emergencies using our shift-pickup platform to build a flexible schedule across multiple sites.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent (or 5 years of verifiable experience), and must pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Valid driver’s license if driving company or customer vehicle.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed).
• Able to operate radio/console equipment and communicate effectively.
• Reliable and adaptable with ability to handle diverse post assignments.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Monitor for irregular or unusual conditions creating security concerns or hazards.
• Sound alarms or contact police/fire department in case of emergencies.
• Warn violators of rules and ensure authorized entry/exit.
• Maintain logs and prepare reports on incidents and accidents.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner.
• Make emergency notifications per site post orders.
