Job summary

Marksman Security LLC is hiring a Flex Officer for Deerfield Beach, FL. This full-time position requires flexibility to cover assignments across our client portfolio, with responsibilities including patrolling, access control, and incident reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a valid FL Security D license and prior security or customer service experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Competitive wages and benefits are provided.

• Two years of customer service experience
• One year of security experience
• Law enforcement experience
• Corrections experience
• Military experience

Responsibilities

• Report to assigned client sites across the portfolio based on operational need, which may include SOC, Aviation, and JM Lexus assignments
• Deter criminal activity and misconduct at each assigned post
• Respond to alarms, calls of distress, or emergencies such as fire, injuries, or the presence of unauthorized persons by contacting police, fire departments, and/or local emergency response teams
• Make periodic patrols to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons
• Prepare clear, concise, and accurate reports for each site worked
• Operate access control systems, utilize a computer for incident reports, navigate security software systems or applications, and use email
• Demonstrate strong customer service skills, a professional demeanor, and appearance across varied assignments
• Manage multiple tasks, execute radio and telephone communications, and perform in a high-pressure environment
• Maintain reasonable availability for shift offers based on operational needs
• Perform other duties as determined by the security supervisor
