Job summary

Responsibilities

• Greet and screen visitors, vendors, and employees at the lobby desk with a professional, welcoming demeanor.
• Operate access control systems to issue and verify credentials.
• Deter misconduct and respond to alarms, calls of distress, or emergencies by contacting police, fire departments, and/or local emergency response teams.
• Make periodic patrols of the lobby and surrounding areas to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, and unauthorized persons.
• Prepare clear, concise, and accurate incident reports.
• Utilize a computer for incident reports, security software applications, and email.
• Manage multiple tasks, execute radio and telephone communications, and perform in a high-pressure environment.
• Perform other duties as determined by the security supervisor.
