BSG is currently seeking a qualified Flex Security Officer for a variety of sites in San Francisco. The role of the Flex Security Officer will be high visibility, deterrence, patrols, building checks as well as community engagement and are primarily responsible for perimeter and access control. Our Security Officers will ensure guests and employees feel secure and welcomed everyday. For all our Security Officer positions, we are seeking candidates with exceptional presentation and customer service skills. Schedule: This is a Flex Full-time position for Morning, Swing and Grave shift as needed. Must have the ability to work up to 10-hour shifts any day within a 7 day week.

• Shift: 7 day availability to work Morning, Swing or Grave shift with 16 hour notice (Weekend availability required)
• Salary: $30.00 per hour

Requirements & Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.

Physical Requirements

• Stand or Walk for Extended Periods: Ability to stand and walk for long shifts, often for several hours at a time, including traversing outdoor areas with uneven surfaces, without significant physical strain.
• Climb Stairs: Regularly climb stairs and navigate multi-level buildings to perform patrols and check all areas.
• Lift and Carry: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds to move or secure equipment, and assist with other duties as necessary.
• Physical Endurance: Ability to withstand various weather conditions during outdoor patrols, including hot, cold, rainy, or windy weather.
• Manual Dexterity: Ability to handle and operate security equipment, such as radios, keys, and locks.
• Run or Move Quickly: Ability to sprint short distances if needed to respond quickly to emergencies or incidents.
• Physical Stamina: Capable of working long hours while remaining alert and focused throughout the shift. De-escalate stressful situations with professionalism and patience.
• Kneeling and Bending: Ability to kneel, crouch, and bend to check low-level areas, secure entrances, or assist in emergencies.
