Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Flex Security Officer's - Part Time in Springfield, MO to help maintain a safe environment for clients.

The role requires monitoring access, patrolling sites, and enforcing site regulations while delivering customer service to staff and visitors. Ideal candidates are 18+, with a HS diploma or GED, strong computer skills, and the ability to stay calm in stressful situations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and stay calm under pressure.
• Great attention to detail and vigilance during shifts.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening including drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Resolve conflicts and de-escalate when needed.
• Interact regularly with client employees and guests.
• Identify safety issues and report hazardous conditions.
• Follow post orders and complete assigned rounds.
• Provide customer service information to employees and guests.
• Operate technology devices used during shift and conduct property tours.

Flex Security Officer's - Part Time

Primary Location: Springfield, MO

Wage: $17.60/HR

Available Shifts:

• 06:30 - 1430
• 14:30 - 22:30
• 22:30 - 06:30

The Flex Security Officer's help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Must have a strong professional appearance.
• Valid drivers license required.
• Open availability preferred.
• Driving record must meet company and or insurance standards.
• Must be alert and observant.
• Must be responsible and dependable.
• Reliable means of transportation needed.
