Job summary

Allied Universal in Honolulu, HI is seeking a Security Officer Flex Driver Patrol Deployment to safeguard client sites across healthcare, education, finance, retail, and more. You will perform patrols on foot or in vehicle, monitor entrances, and respond to emergencies.

The role offers 30-40 hours per week with varying shifts through Earn More, Claim-A-Shift scheduling. You’ll work irregular shifts with little advance notice to meet client needs, building a foundation for a long-term career.

Qualifications

• Be available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• A valid driver's license is required per policy.
• Be available for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Able to travel the required distance.
• Must be at least 18 years old (unarmed) or 21+ (armed).
• Background investigation will be conducted as part of employment.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular conditions that may create security concerns.
• Sound alarms or notify police/fire in emergencies.
• Warn violators of rules and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departed personnel to protect property and ensure proper removal.
• Investigate incidents and prepare written reports.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site orders.
