Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer for the Atlantic City, NJ area. This part-time role requires standing, walking for long distances, and proficient computer skills, with a professional demeanor.

You will patrol, monitor entrances, and respond to incidents across multiple sites, with shift times announced during interviews. The position emphasizes flexibility, safety, and customer service, offering opportunities for hands-on site experience and career growth in a leading security

Qualifications

• Must be able to walk for long distances.
• Proficient with computers and maintain professional demeanor.
• Able to communicate clearly with the public and team members.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
• Warn violators of rule infractions (loitering, smoking, etc.)
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances/exits
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders
