Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Flex Rover in Raleigh, NC. This Flex Part‑Time role allows you to build a schedule that fits your life while helping keep our clients safe.

You’ll patrol, monitor access points, document observations, and respond to incidents with calm, teamwork, and integrity. Pay rate is $18.00 per hour with the chance to claim additional shifts through our Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by following Allied Universal procedures and site policies, and participate in emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols to deter security incidents and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe public areas, reporting suspicious behavior and maintenance issues.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with site personnel and first responders as directed.
• Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and patrol documentation and communicate significant events to supervisors or client representatives.
