Job summary

Allied Universal in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Security Officer – Flex Media Patrol to safeguard clients across Tech/Media/Telecom sectors. You will patrol, monitor access, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a strong security presence.

This part-time role offers a flexible day schedule with shifts such as DayTime and Sat 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM, access to exclusive shifts via our Claim a Shift platform, and training opportunities as you help create a safe, welcoming

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background check in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply.
Alarm panel experience preferred.
CPR or first aid certification preferred.
Access control or badge experience preferred.
Armed roles require 21+; unarmed roles require 18+.
Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security procedures and site policies, and respond to emergencies as needed.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, assisting with issue resolution.
Conduct regular and random patrols to deter unauthorized activity and maintain visibility.
Monitor access points and observe activities to support a secure environment.
Document observations and incidents according to company and client protocols.
Enforce location rules and regulations per established procedures.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to ensure a positive site experience.
