Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time FLEX Security Officer for a facility in Phillipsburg, NJ. Starting salary is $19.00 per hour with FLEX shifts and a shift-pickup platform to build your schedule while gaining diverse site experience.

Responsibilities include patrols, monitoring entrances, incident reporting, and assisting customers and staff. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be 18+ (21+ if armed), and pass background and drug screening. Flexible, growth-focused role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements may apply; background check and drug screen required.
• Must be at least 18 (21 if armed) and able to work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular conditions that may create security concerns.
• Sound alarms or notify authorities in case of fire or incidents.
• Warn violators and monitor entrances and exits.
• Maintain access control and monitor post entries/exits.
• Document incidents with reports and logs as required.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously.
• Make emergency notifications per site Orders.
