Allied Universal in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Security Officer Flex Short Notice Driving Position. The role offers 30–40 hours per week with a varied schedule across client sites, supported by our Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift self-scheduling program.

Shifts and locations change regularly to fit client needs and your flexibility. You will perform patrols, respond to incidents, and assist clients with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Availability to work varying shifts, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Must be able to travel required distances for Branch Flex assignments.
• Background check conducted per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure authorized removal of property.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors professionally.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
