Securitas USA is seeking a Flex Security Officer to patrol multiple client sites across the metro area, protecting people, property, and assets. The role involves responding to incidents, enforcing safety protocols, and managing access control.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with HS diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, CPR/First Aid, and the ability to work independently while delivering excellent customer service. Pre-employment screening applies.

• Prior security, law enforcement or military experience a plus.
• Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and vigilant on shift.
• Respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgement and escalation.
• Strong observational skills and quick decision-making.
• Willing to participate in pre-employment screening (drug screen and background).

The Flex Security Officer provides security at various client sites by protecting people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.

What Your Day May Look Like

• Maintain a secure environment that protects employees, customers, and visitors from harm.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and security incidents to minimize risk and damage.
• Uphold company policies, safety regulations, and legal compliance standards.
• Protect sensitive information and intellectual property from unauthorized access.

• Conduct regular patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, & entry points to identify potential security risks.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and clear driving record required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
