The Flex Security Officer role at Securitas USA is a full-time position based in Elk Grove Village, IL. You will help maintain a safe environment by monitoring premises, controlling access, patrolling sites, and reporting hazards with professionalism and courtesy.

We value integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness. Candidates should have high school diploma, strong customer service, and the ability to work independently and calmly under pressure. Pre-employment screening applies.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age and able to work independently.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer/technology skills.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening (drug screen and background).

Responsibilities

• Resolve conflicts and de-escalate when needed.
• Interact frequently with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Ensure post orders are followed and rounds completed.
• Provide customer service and information to employees and guests.
• Use technology devices during shift.
• Conduct property tours.

Flex Security Officer - Full Time

Primary Location: Elk Grove Village, IL

Wage Range: $18.00-$20.00/HR

The Flex Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.

• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.

• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.

• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.

• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.

• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.

• Conduct tours of the property.

• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.

• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.

• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
